The Forest, as a third place, embodies a urban forest within the city. The space is derived off of the primal human need to gather and hunt for resources. With the focus of art, The Forest is a location that caters to Toronto’s entertainment district’s need of interaction and art. The Forest invites all to come together and bring their knowledge and creativity into the space to share. This creates a sense of community and allows the people of Toronto to trade and obtain knowledge from each other.
The project was designed in a mix-use studio within an existing condominium building in downtown Toronto.
